In Saskatoon, National Communications Director Scott Hennig encourages Canadians to contact cabinet ministers and MPs telling them to deal with the federal debt. Scott says the federal government started paying down the debt in the 1990s because Canadians wanted it. The visit was part of the CTF's National Debt Clock Tour to raise awareness of growing government debt. The tour started at Mile 0 in Victoria on February 22, 2011 and is expected to wind up in Halifax, the last week of March.
